Denis Laprise is known for his stoic confidence in mankind and life and, among other things, as a practitioner of fearlessness. Still recovering from the damages QBASIC did to his brain, he’s fascinated by algorithmic topics such as clustering and, more broadly, information retrieval when he doesn’t play with heuristics to solve his everyday challenges.
Denis is CTO and co-founder of Poly9, a R&D and consultancy firm specialized in GIS consumer facing applications and web 3D visualization tools. Once he’s succeeded, Denis will be a venture capitalist.
